Bentley Introduces V8 Flying Spur Across The Middle East

The Bentley Flying Spur, a sedan so good that it is often referred to as the “best luxury sedan in the world”, is now set to make an even bigger impression with the introduction of the brand’s award-winning V8 powertrain across the Middle East.

Since the all-new Flying Spur went on sale in the region in October 2019, it has generated significant demand among customers, writing a new phase in the history of Bentley's four-door Grand Touring in the Middle East and building on the success of the previous generation models.

The Flying Spur V8, now available as an alternative to the iconic W12 model, offers a more driver-centric experience via increased agility and a more characterful engine note, whilst benefiting from an increased range between fuel stops and a reduction in CO₂ emissions.

At the heart sits Bentley’s 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which produces a peak power of 542bhp and uses twin-scroll turbos to reach its maximum torque of 770Nm at just under 2000 rpm. To maximize fuel economy, the V8 can shut down four of its eight cylinders under light-load conditions. The change is imperceptible to the occupants – with deactivation times of around 20 milliseconds.

The Flying Spur V8 also incorporates an array of intelligent and intuitive equipment tailored to the driver and passengers, including a new Touch Screen Remote in the rear. The car masterfully balances delicacy and craftsmanship, with supremely comfortable seats in five hide colors.

The new Flying Spur, available in both four-seat or five-seat configurations, incorporates a class-leading portfolio of intelligent and intuitive equipment and technology tailored to the driver and passengers. The industry-first Bentley Rotating Display is also available on the new Flying Spur V8, including Apple CarPlay and photorealistic landscapes through satellite maps.
