First VW XL1 arrives to the Middle East

The first Volkswagen XL1 in the Middle East has been handed over to Mr. Ali Murad Behbehani in an official ceremony with Mr. Jens Mueller from Volkswagen Middle East.
The XL1 has a high-tech lightweight design, perfect aerodynamics and a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 2-cylinder TDI engine, e-motor, 7-speed dual clutch gearbox (DSG) and lithium-ion battery.
The 2-seater can be driven for up to 50km in pure electric mode thanks to its plug-in hybrid system.
