Lotus Cars MD Matt Windle visits UAE dealership to kickstart new era 

Since the start of the decade, Lotus has been undergoing a major change in its quest for becoming a global brand. Matt Windle, the managing Director of the UK-based car maker, has been spearheading the change and he visited Adamas Motors L.L.C., the official Lotus Dealer in the UAE, to kickstart the new era by outlining future strategies and showcasing the all-new Eletre SUV.

Adamas Motors will be commencing with deliveries of the Emira sports car, the last Lotus to have an ICE engine, very soon in the UAE and Matt Windle also celebrated this important milestone with the staff.

The Eletre SUV is an all electric hyper-SUV which takes aero and design cues from the Evija hypercar and broadens Lotus’ vehicle offering as the Hethel-based firm will not be able to offer its driver-oriented experience to lovers of the SUV. 

Lotus has set up a Vision 80 strategy by which it has pledged to meet its targets by the time of the carmaker’s 80th birthday in 2028. The plan is based on three major pillars - transforming the business, revolutionising the product range and delivering results every year.
