New system in Dubai to reward good drivers

Collect "white points" for good driving - win rewards from Dubai Police!

According to Dubai Police website, drivers who abide by traffic laws will get rewarded.

Here are the conditions:

1. The car must be registered in Dubai and the driving license must be from Dubai

2. No traffic violations must be done during the year, starting January 2012 (including Salik toll violations)

3. One white point will be issued every month if the above two conditions are met, total 12 will be issued for the year

4. Drivers will be informed by SMS about their prizes

5. Drivers who stay violation-free for 5 consecutive years will enter a draw to win a car
