Traffic jams frustrating JBR visitors

People are starting to resent going to the all popular JBR in Dubai because of the traffic woes and lack of parking spots.

The cafes and restaurants at JBR are also getting frustrated about the problem saying that it is causing less and less customers coming.

Mohammed Selim Mohammed, manager of El Chico Mexican restaurant, suggested free parking for customers where restaurants can simply stamp the ticket.

Dubai Properties, the group that owns the JBR, promised that things will get better. "There are development works taking place in JBR which will result in 1,200 underground car-parking spaces," a spokesman said, "Once the development is complete there will be far greater availability of parking.”
