Quick Review

For 2012, the Mercedes-Benz E350 has undergone improvements to boost power and fuel economy compared with the outgoing 2011 model.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class holds its own position strongly in the luxury large car segment. The E-class can offer a luxurious interior and an enhanced powertrain. Inside, it has a spacious back seat and features plenty of premium materials. Outside, the Mercedes’ elegant, understated styling puts it ahead of the pack, and its performance puts it right at the top of its segment. The similarly-priced Infiniti M has slightly better tech, and some prefer its interior; however, its performance can't quite match the E-Class. Other options are the Audi A6 and BMW 5-Series; these are arguably a little sportier than the E-Class, but they can't really offer the same degree of luxury. Mercedes is certainly more comfy to your passengers: the 5-Series has a smaller sized back seat, and the rear seat in the Audi, especially the center could have been made more comfortable. They also find tough competition in terms of reliability and safety.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is a luxury car for someone who's willing to spend more for performance, and who is thinking of passenger comfort and safety.

The E-Class is a very comfortable ride. It lacks sportiness, but it's still agile and handles corners superbly.
