Which cars did you shortlist before deciding to buy this car? 

1. Audi A6

2. Lexus GS

3. Mercedes E-Class

What made you pick the 528i over the A6 and other competitors?

The Lexus GS didn't compare at all with the 528i, even though it's much cheaper but does not have what the BMW 528i has. The Audi A6 and E-Class were comparable in terms of driving pleasure, but the service package and insurance from AGMC, the dealer in Dubai was much better. The Mercedes required additional costs for the same service package being offered by BMW. 

Your opinion on BMW 528i in terms of looks:

It's got that sporty look but it's elegant at the same time. 

Likes: Believe it or not but I love the daytime running lights!

Dislikes: In terms of looks, absolutely nothing!

Your take on interior:

Very spacious, very comfortable to put it simply. 

Likes: Aside from the leather seats and the design of the front panel, there is a very cool SOS button (BMW Assist) that helps track the location of my car in case it's in trouble. It also helps in terms of navigation. The location of my car can be routed to an emergency call center for example. And in case my car is stolen, it can help in theft recovery as well! 

Dislikes: I wish it had that nice touchpad like Audi A6 which really makes searching and navigation simple. 

Comfort: Incomparable with any other car. Simply the best. 

Your assessment of driving performance:

Excellent drive in city and highways, very zippy, great power.

How practical is the 528i?

It's an everyday car, very suitable for families of 4-5 people, has ample room and boot space. 

What areas need improvement?

Definitely could use with some more gadgets in the interior, such as the aforementioned touchpad. There is also no DVD player which was quite a surprise.
