Quick Review

The Chrysler Grand Voyager is a practical family car, a perfect minibus for ferrying the kids around. The Stow ‘n Go seating and luggage compartments mean space will never be a worry.
The exterior of the 2012 Grand Voyager isn’t that different from old models. However, the interior has had an overhaul and there’s generally better quality feel. Options include passenger DVD players, and there’s a ‘Limited’ model that comes better equipped than the standard version.

Technical improvements include a 10 second time to 100kmh and the top speed increased to180km/h. The poor CO2 emissions and fuel economy have also been slightly improved.

Driving-wise, the ride is supple enough and copes with even big bumps. However, it’s not the most fun to drive, and there’s a bit of body roll through the bends. It’s definitely better suited to motorway driving than anything with twists and turns.

Within its sector, the Grand Voyager is comparable to the Seat Alhambra. However, it’s the only one that comes with electric sliding doors as standard, and the seating arrangement is especially versatile for kids and luggage.

If you’re looking for a practical MPV for family life, this is a reliable choice. However, it might be worth checking out your other options as well.
