Review: Powerful engine and cheap to maintain by Anna Joseph

With short terms, Toyota Fortuner has good resale value, is comparatively at the time of purchase, cheaper to maintain. It also has the most powerful engine in this class of SUV’s and is cheapest in price for the features offered.

It’s a great car to drive in the city as it is automatic with a very powerful 4 litre, 6 cylinder engine. Although, petrol consumption is high for city driving, as compared to long drives. I drive the care about 4 times a year to Abu Dhabi and never been off road.

As for the interior, I like the 7 seater passenger capacity, 2 rows of seats can be completely folded to accommodate large capacity luggage, good leg room for all passengers, wooden trims on dashboard and doors. However, I dislike being uncomfortable for 2nd row passengers especially during long trips, no navigation facility on dashboard, and no Bluetooth.

Toyota Fortuner is very practical for everyday usage.  Very suitable for our family with Ample room inside and ample boot space.  The car should be equipped with navigation and Bluetooth facilities.

Likes
• The powerful engine.
• Spacious interiors, Dashboard layout.
• Cruise control, all wheel drive.
• Good clearance from the road.

Dislike
• Very high petrol consumption.
• No Bluetooth facility.
• No parking sensors.
