Which cars did you shortlist before deciding to buy this car? 

1. Lexus IS 300 

2. Volkswagen Golf GTI

What made you pick S60 over the above competitors?

Both Lexus and Golf felt a bit claustrophobic from the inside. There seemed to be a lot of stuff inside which wasn't very comforable. The S60 feels roomier inside and has a simple interior which reduces the inner clutter. 

Your opinion on S60 looks:

Nothing amazing about it but then I don't give it that much importance. 

Your take on interior:

It's quite simple and roomy, I do wish it had a sunroof. Plus there is only one CD compartment and there is no dedicated MP3 support (there is AUX though but not the same thing). Also I'm more used to the traditional handbrake, this one has a hand lever which takes some getting used to. Finally, compared to my previous car, the Mazda 6 2004, it has less compartments inside. 

Your assessment of driving performance:

Takes me from A to B, hassle free. 

How practical is the S60?

There is enough room for 4 adults comfortably, great for everyday use. 

What areas need improvement?

They could add some more amenities like the interior compartments, MP3 support and the sunroof. Overall, it works great as an everyday car.
