Review: Small nice looking car needs some speed by Hazem Al Qadri

It wasn’t easy! We looked at many.. many cars before we took our decision to buy the great Fiat 500. We bought it because it looks nice and sporty. It's also different, not a lot of people own it. I use it to travel within the city. However, to be honest I find the car slow. If you activate sports mode then it becomes alright to drive but without it, the car is slow. The good thing though is that the car is smooth and stable even when you are at high speeds.

The Fiat 500 is not at all practical as a family car but it is alright for a single person. The car most definitely is small and with the number of accidents in the UAE, this is a concern. The Fiat 500 is a great looking car both from the interior and the exterior. Since the car is small, it is really easy to squeeze your way through traffic and it is a breeze to park. The only major concern I have with the car is that the plastic covering the handbrake keeps breaking every time the handbrake is applied. I feel this should have been made of better quality.

Likes: Sporty interior design. I like the position of gear stick. Console design is amazing.

Dislikes: A/C controls are difficult to adjust.
