Currently, there is only one engine option available for the Creta in Oman. This is Hyundai’s ever-reliable 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine. This motor produces a maximum of 121 horsepower and 151 Nm of torque. It doesn’t sound much, but it provides more than passable performance for most purposes. The suspension is set up for added ride height and to provide just the right balance between shock absorption and cornering ability.

The 2017 Hyundai Creta is an interesting new competitor in the compact crossover market. Based on our first impressions and its long list of strong points, it shapes up to be among the best cars in its class both now and in the foreseeable future.
