GB Auto named as Shell Macro distributor in Southern Iraq

Shell has expanded its footprint in the Middle East region by naming GB Auto as its macro distributor in Southern Iraq. The British multinational oil and gas company will be offering its full range of automotive lubricants including Shell Helix, Shell Rimula, Shell Spirax, and Shell Gadus to customers.

Thanks to Iraq’s economic growth, demand for premium automotive lubricants has been increasing and so it doesn’t come as a surprise that Shell has well and truly entered the market with its full portfolio of lubricants. According to a report by Research and Markets, the lubricants market in Iraq is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.73 percent by 2026.
