Praga Goes Global as Bohema Debuts in Dubai

It’s a welcome call for the extremely affluent people of Dubai who yearn to treat themselves with a limited-run hypercar. Praga, a Czech Republic domiciling company has just unveiled a 1.1-million road-legal and extremely track-focussed hypercar called Bohema at The Space in Dubai. The car was exhibited after inviting Dubai’s royal family members, hypercar collectors and sports car enthusiasts at the venue. 

The bantamweight 982 kg monster’s 89 examples have been built for a conflagration between the tyre and the road grit. Bohema bears an excellent power-to-weight ratio as it ejects a mind-boggling 700 hp. The combination of carbon-fibre construction for a feather-weight body and colossal power has the muscle to put even a McLaren Senna to shame. The engine used has been lavished upon by the Nissan GT-R. As a result, a heavily tuned iteration of Nissan’s 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 does the duty to embark the car on the road to glory by Litchfield, a prominent UK-based tuner. A 6-speed sequential transmission is laboured for unleashing all the power with a thrust through the rear-axle.

The Bohema, to some extent, is a more realistic extension of its predecessor, the R1 hypercar prototype that brought itself and the company a lot of dignity after knocking heads with other contemporaries in a racing event, last year. Reports also claim that more ‘hyper’ epitomes of the car will be revealed in future.

Creating wonder at the event was a unique carbon-fibre table that was conceived by Praga’s Design Director, Juraj Mitro and the previously discussed Dubai Autodrome-winning Praga R1 that was concocted and preserved by Dragon Racing. At the event, it was informed to the gathering that the carbon-fibre table could be bespoke alongside a Bohema with similar detailing. Regardless of the fact that the Bohema and R1 share no underpinnings, common traits between the two which persist are carbon construction, lightweight engineering and head-turning design.

Following the unveil, Praga will begin exclusive viewings of the esoteric hypercar at The Space over the coming weeks and Dragon Racing, the official dealer/reseller to market Praga Bohema hypercar located at the Dubai Autodrome. A stop-gap arrangement has been made to run the brand’s business in the UAE till March by when a novel UK global brand centre is expected to be erected. The development of the car and its test drives can be had in the UAE until that time.
