TCS builds on Partnership with Jaguar Land Rover to Enter Formula E Racing

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a connoisseur in providing IT services, consultancy and business solutions, has keen interest in partnering with sports events organisers and to further accentuate its long-held record, has announced will be the Title Partner for the 2021/22 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship and will get engaged to Jaguar Racing for the same. Following this merger, the race team will be renamed to Jaguar TCS Racing. 

They have together constructed the vantage point of curating an ever-evolving platform that will allow them to delve deeper into research and innovation to contrive efficient and powerful EV solutions. TCS’ expertise in technology working with tech providers and stalwarts who frequently alter their value offerings to cater to the continuously changing business and consumer needs, will come in handy for this strategic partnership and lead to the development of electrification to foster low carbon emissions and sustainability. 

To ensure this is a success, data and learning from the race track will be evaluated which will be a kingpin for the development of fire-breathing cars that will lead to the growth, development and transformation of the entire vehicle environment.

TCS has already experimented and reaped ripe fruits during its collaboration with several running marathons such as the TCS New York City Marathon and the TCS Amsterdam Marathon where its cognizance helped them to extract maximum advantage of digital technology and tailor the racing experience. 

Together with Jaguar, the Jaguar TCS Racing will pay heed to maximising the potential of the best race car in the Formula E heritage which will comprise revamps in software areas to better energy management leading to swifter pace while emboldening its range at the same time. A new qualifying system and in-garage pit stops, which will become a prominent feature in the first 10 min of the new syntax, is on the cards.

JLR and TCS have pulled off successful collaborations since 2012. This joint program of action is only going to make the roots of their relationship steadier. Having an avid focus on customer satisfaction and sustainability, both brands are expected to set high yardsticks in environmental, societal and community impact.
