GMC Acadia 2017 launched in Qatar

The GMC Acadia is a model that slots in between the smaller Terrain and the larger Yukon in the American marque’s line-up. Comprising 20% of the brand’s sales in the country, the Acadia is a mid-size Crossover SUV that rivals the Chevrolet Traverse and the Honda Pilot.

Available in three trim levels (SLE, SLT, Denali) the all-new Acadia welcomes several seating configurations and is dedicated to delivering a more refined driving experience than its predecessor. Shedding a little over 300 kilograms, the 2017 Acadia is lighter and is equipped with a more powerful 310 horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine.
With Active Fuel Management (cylinder deactivation), a six-speed automatic transmission, and a drive mode selector, the all-new Acadia sips 11.2 liters / 100 kilometers when mapped to a Front-Wheel-Drive layout and an impressive 11.7 liters / 100 kilometers when mapped to an All-Wheel-Drive layout.
During the official launch in Doha, Mr Mohammed Helmy, Group General Manager, Mannai Auto said: “Built on a new, lighter body structure, the 2017 Acadia is completely redesigned to appeal to the Medium SUV market. It inspires confidence, has a finely crafted interior and segment-leading perofrmance and safety specifications.”

The Acadia SLE and SLT come standard with a three-year/60,000 kilometers service package, while the Acadia Denali benefits from a four-year/80,000 kilometers service package. All trims are complemented by a three-year/100,000 kilometers manufacturer warranty and 24/7 Roadside Assistance.
